Cancellations

One-Time-Only Reschedule & Cancellation Policy

Freedom Machine offers a flexible cancellation policy, allowing you to either use the 48-hour gift card cancellation option or reschedule your booking one time ONLY. Please note that once you reschedule, you will no longer be eligible for the 48-hour gift card cancellation option.

48 Hours Before Bike Pick-Up
For your first and only cancellation, you can convert the booking value into a store gift card if you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled bike pick-up. If you choose to reschedule instead of canceling, the 48-hour gift card cancellation option will no longer be available to you.

24 Hours Before Bike Pick-Up
No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled bike pick-up. However, you may still be eligible to reschedule your booking one time ONLY. Rescheduling can be done online, but please note that price differences may apply.

Same-Day Cancellation
No refunds or rescheduling options are available for cancellations made on the day of the bike pick-up. Additionally, EFT/admin fees or cancellation fees may apply.

Heavy/Consistent & Pouring Rain on Day-Hire
In the event of heavy or consistent rain on the day of your hire, you can reschedule at no extra cost. If rescheduling is not possible, such as if you live more than 200 km away, you may be eligible for a full refund. Rescheduling due to rain will not count as your one-time reschedule. If it rains again on your rescheduled day, you can reschedule again at no additional cost. Our goal is to ensure you enjoy your ride in pleasant weather, allowing you and your family and friends to have a great time.

Late Return Charges
Late returns will incur a minimum charge equivalent to a half-day bike rental price. Please be mindful of any time differences due to daylight savings.
